People don't change, but values do.

Earlier generations would have sought work in commerce, but the current crop want to avoid any productive labor whatsoever.

Profit to them is a dirty word, so they join parasitic organizations that pass grants back and forth.

It's virtue-signalling, without the actual presence of virtue.


There's plenty of cynical Trustafarians making bank heading charities, promoting 'awareness,' and working as 'labour lawyers.' It's the same everywhere, and that will never change, not even if you think you can change human nature.
