The Democrat Party is like a roomful of 13-year-olds: Juvenile, immature, obnoxious and full of overblown drama.
In the weeks after Donald Trump's Election Day victory over Hillary Clinton, the party and its kook followers whined bitterly about how Clinton was robbed because she won the popular vote. Most of them just are not intellectually capable of grasping the genius of the Electoral College and the dangers of direct democracy. They also are inconsistent implying that the will of the people, in the form of popular vote results, should always prevail. (See the dozens of states whose residents voted against gay marriage, enshrining that belief in their constitutions, only to be overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court.)
The Democrats also embarked on a Quixote-like effort to recount the votes in three critical states (erstwhile bricks in the so-called "Blue Wall" of Shrillary), only to be overruled by the courts and ridiculed by millions of sane Americans. Yes, Jill Stein headed up the effort, but she was just the front girl for Team Clinton. When that desperate effort fell short, the Demagogues turned to the meme about Russian hacking tilting the election toward Donald Trump.
The Russian hacking hype has become as much of a tempest in a teapot as the overblown Valerie Plame/Scooter Libby drama of a decade ago. When it was revealed that Department of State hack Richard Armitage divulged Plame's CIA identity, the press barely mentioned it. The coverage of this revelation was like a grain of sand on the beach compared to the months of breathless, alarmist garbage spewed by the leftist media about G.W. Bush and Libby.
Even the most partisan Democrats acknowledge that there were no vote counting irregularities in this year's election, and there's no evidence the Russians manipulated vote counting machines, servers or computer networks. But their allegation that it was the Russians behind Wikileak's release of emails that were both embarrassing and damaging to the Democrats is highly questionable. Yes, the CIA and other intelligence agencies say so, but we have come to realize that no one person and no agency or department of Barack Obama's administration can be trusted. Frankly, the lying has been off the charts. Every aspect of the federal government has been politicized.
It is very possible that disgruntled Democrats (perhaps Bernie Sanders supporters angry about their candidate's shabby treatment by the corrupt Democrat poobahs) leaked the emails that put on full display the lies, conceit, hypocrisy and arrogance of Hillary's execrable cabal. A pathetic effort to pressure Trump electors to change their vote and throw the election into the House of Representatives fell short today. The pompous Hollywood blowhards who put out videos urging electors to vote their conscience and spare us from the alleged horrors of Donald Trump were sad, and probably turned more Americans against the desperate Left.
It is indeed rich that, months ago, Hillary and her followers denied any threat of Russian hacking due to her home brew email server, and weren't concerned about it ... until she lost the election. So typical of the Left.
Enough already with the whiny, sour grapes B.S.! Grow up, Democrats!
