The Posse wishes a Merry Christmas to ALL of our readers.
My co-blogger hit the nail on the head: No two Christmases are exactly alike. And sometimes it is inevitable that we may wistfully ponder Christmases past, regretting broken relationships, hurt feelings or family divisions. High expectations of great feelings and warm camaraderie with family members often do not come to pass.
But for those who believe in God, this ought to be a day of true happiness and wonder. Because God's gift of his Son demonstrates His unconditional love for humanity.
That is a truly heartening and wonderful thought that ought to elevate us above the sadness, stress or struggles we endure from day to day.
The Book of Corinthians speaks of faith, hope and love. "And the greatest of these is love." Taking that thought one step further, the greatest love is that of the architect of the universe... for us! Contemplate that, and you're bound to feel good about it.
Hope you enjoy the day with your loved ones, and take a few moments to count your blessings.
