Last week, CIA Director John Brennan contradicted President Obama's B.S. narrative about ISIS being back on its heels and on the run. In congressional testimony, Brennan indicated that despite our efforts, ISIS remains a viable threat to the homeland, and one of its methods of infiltrating the United States would be through refugee flows. (So much for the immigrants being thoroughly vetted before being admitted, just another in a million Obama lies.) I can't help but wonder if Obama called Brennan on the carpet.
Also last week, more than 51 diplomats of the U.S. Department of State signed a memo protesting the president's policies in Syria and calling for a tougher stance against Syrian President Bashar As-Assad. The O-man undoubtedly must have choked on his Arugula when he learned of that.
FBI Director James Comey also made some candid remarks a few months ago about how his agency has investigations into ISIS activities ongoing in all 50 states. He did not downplay that the Islamofascists are here and are working overtime to wreak havoc on our nation. Kind of goes against the Obama propaganda, no?
Two years ago, U.N. Ambassador to Syria Rob Ford resigned his position in protest, complaining that Obama failed to address the root causes of the Syrian conflict and to stop Assad from using chemical weapons against civilians.
At the time, this was one of the few signs of dissent in the administration that attracted media attention, although it is obvious that some of the shuffling of key cabinet members such as secretaries of the Department of Defense, Health and Human Services and Veterans Administration indicated internal frictions (not to mention downright incompetency, such as in the case of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and her botched Obamacare rollout).
Will we see more administration members not afraid to speak out in the coming months, as this destructive administration finishes out its two terms of incompetency? Possibly. Many people may be on the way out even if Hillary wins the election, since new presidents typically like to appoint campaign contributors and cronies to plum positions. They may feel they have nothing to lose by speaking out, and some of them may be hoping to score a book contract or make a name for themselves appearing as pundits on cable news talk shows.
Comey, it should be noted, is a registered Republican who served as Deputy Attorney General in the G.W. Bush administration. His agency is full of dedicated servants known for their professionalism, but many of them are frustrated to no end by the insane P.C. dictates coming down from the Trotskyites at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. (e.g., don't use "offensive" words such as "sharia" or "jihad" in communications about Muslims, and above all, don't EVER string together the words "Islamic terrorism" or "fundamentalist Islam." Keep your idealistic heads in the sand at all times!)
This all could boil over in a few months when the FBI finds damning evidence that Hillary Clinton's sieve-like email server was hacked ruthlessly, and sensitive state secrets, including names and addresses of spies, overseas operatives and their relatives, fell into the hands of dangerous enemies, yet delusional, hyper-partisan Obama will A) not allow the Department of Justice to indict Hillary; or B) will offer her a full pardon in exchange for who knows what -- her stepping aside to make room for Joe Biden?
Stay tuned. It's going to be a fascinating Summer and Fall, for many reasons.
