Payback for a Swiftie?
Powerline links to a disturbing story of how Steven Gardner - a key figure in the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign against John Kerry - has apparently been fired in retaliation for his activism.
This is the ugly side of politics - and gives the lie to the notion that Kerry has nothing but unconditional love for his "Band of Brothers."
The election is over, but the payback apparently has just begun.
Speaking of Kerry, whatever happened to his discharge? If any readers have learned the truth of this, please pass it on to the Posse. Kerry is still a sitting Senator and may well seek reelection. His military record remains a viable issue.
Kerry once got a Silver Star for finishing off the wounded. We should return the favor.
UPDATE: Powerline offers Gardner's email. It is sgardner5@carolina.rr.com.
We think a job offer is better than charity, but he certainly deserves better than this.

Has anyone set up an account for him so we can send money?

It is unlikely he would accept such charity.
Hopefully he will be inundated with job offers.

Email his former boss Steve Pietrzak at custservice@Millinfo.com and tell him how pathetic his treatment of Mr. Gardner is.

It is because of men like Mr. Gardner, persons like you still exist. Has any one in this world ever asked: What was Kerry doing with his personal photographer in Vietnam????? Producing and directing a film to carry home while our service personnel were getting slaughtered?
